A fatal stabbing occurred Saturday evening at a bar in Eau Claire.
The Eau Claire Police Department reported that officers were dispatched to the Do-Dodge-Inn around 6 p.m. following reports of a stabbing inside the establishment. Upon arrival, police and Eau Claire County Sheriff’s deputies located the victim and attempted life-saving measures, including applying a chest seal to the wound. The victim was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
A suspect was taken into custody at the scene, and authorities have stated they are not seeking additional suspects. The incident is believed to be isolated.
