Ana Orsini Obituary: KOLD-TV mourn the loss of 13 News co-anchor Ana Orsini – Cause of Death
The 13 News Family announced the sudden death of their beloved friend and co-anchor Ana Orsini. Ana had been at 13 News since June 2023 and we are devastated by her unexpected passing.
“While there is no perfect way to remember the life Ana led, we want to honor her by sharing some of our favorite Ana moments with you.”
We are heartbroken by the sudden and unexpected loss of Ana Orsini, whose passing has left a profound void. Ana spent three impactful years as a morning and midday anchor, covering everything from major wildfires to advocating for shelter pets in need of loving homes.
Ana’s journalism career began in 2018 in Lubbock, Texas, where she worked as an anchor and reporter. Her work ranged from reporting on Texas Tech basketball to conducting an extensive months-long investigative series exposing a bridal shop scam.
“Ana Orsini was a force to be reckoned with, and she made sure everyone knew it. During our time together at KDRV, she showed immense bravery, strength, and an unyielding willingness to try anything. I’ll never forget the first time I met Ana—she was seated at her desk, dressed entirely in pink, exuding confidence and authenticity.
She was fearless and led a newsroom with just a glance, always staying true to herself while encouraging others to carve their own paths. Ana’s unwavering support and wisdom inspired me to become the journalist I am today. She was not only a dedicated professional but also one of the most compassionate people I have ever met, a quality that shone through in every aspect of her life.
Her kindness, courage, and the joy she brought to those around her will never be forgotten.”
Ana’s legacy of determination, compassion, and authenticity continues to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
