Austin Dean Obituary North Attleboro: 20-year-old man named as victim in fatal multi-vehicle crash near 777 Putnam Pike

A 20-year-old North Attleboro resident tragically lost his life in a two-vehicle accident in Smithfield on Monday evening.

According to police, the crash occurred at approximately 5:35 p.m. near 777 Putnam Pike. The 20-year-old was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with critical injuries but later succumbed to those injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle and a juvenile passenger were also injured and taken to Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital for treatment.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
