According to Chris Fitzgerald, Barron County Sheriff in a media release on Monday, initial investigation into Sunday’s deaths is complete and while follow up is still ongoing it is believe the following occurred;
According to authorities, Michael Turnipseed age 53 and Michelle Turnipseed age 51 were separated and there was an active case in the court system but there was not a no contact provision in the pending case.
Michael arrived at the house just after noon with Michelle agreeing to this arrangement.
Sometime shortly after he arrived some sort of altercation occurred and both subjects were found deceased from apparent stab wounds. Michelle was located outside the residence and Michael was found inside the residence with a knife next to him, authorities said.
Family has been notified and our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
