Hussain Farhat Accident; 40-Years Old Tow Truck Driver From Chicago Passes Away In Fatal Waukesha County, Wisconsin Hit-And-Run Crash
Hussain Farhat, a 40-year-old tow truck driver from Chicago, was fatally struck in a hit-and-run incident on Christmas Eve along I-94 in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. The collision occurred around 6:41 p.m. as Farhat was assisting a disabled vehicle on the eastbound shoulder near Sawyer Road.
According to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, a blue minivan struck Farhat before fleeing the scene. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Farhat was employed by Yaffo Towing in Chicago. The sheriff’s office reported that a tip received on Wednesday led to the identification of a 39-year-old suspect from Wales, Wisconsin. The suspect later turned himself in and is now facing felony charges for Hit & Run Causing Death.
Authorities, including the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department and Wisconsin State Patrol, are continuing their investigation into the incident. Further details have not yet been released.
